THE TEAM

Brian M. Stephen, MAI is the President of Paramount Property Analysts and has been a practicing real estate appraiser and consultant since 1984. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University. His qualifications include the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute, certified general real estate appraiser, licensed property tax consultant and a licensed real estate broker in the state of Texas. His real estate and appraisal education includes real estate land and real estate finance at Sam Houston State University, Real Estate Principles, Basic Valuation Procedures, Standards of Professional Practice, Capitalization Theory and Techniques Parts A and B, Narrative Report Writing, and Case Study courses with the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Stephen's background in real estate appraising includes special-use, farm & ranch, commercial, industrial, and residential properties, as well as feasibility studies, condemnation reports, and real estate consultation. The Appraisal Institute conducts a program of continuing education for its designated members. MAIs and SRPAs who meet the minimum standards of this program are awarded periodic education certification. Mr. Stephen is currently certified under this program.
Tim Mayfield is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with seven years of appraisal experience. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Land Economics & Real Estate, both from Texas A&M University. He specializes in commercial appraisal, including retail, office, multi-family/student housing, subdivision developments, industrial, and farm & ranch properties. Tim is currently working toward his MAI designation.
Sterling Fryar is a licensed Real Estate Appraiser Trainee and is in the process of obtaining his General Certified Appraisal License. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics with a focus in Finance and Real Estate, along with a minor in Business and Economics from Texas A&M University. Originally from San Angelo, Texas, he has an extensive background in agriculture and continues to participate in his family’s ranching operation. He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent, and is working towards his Broker’s license and MAI designation.
Brady Kemp was raised in College Station and has 12 years of extensive experience in the real estate industry. He has appraised all types of single family homes from tract homes in Modesto, CA to lake view geodesic domes in Canyon Lake, TX and Mountain Lodges in the Poudre Canyon, Colorado. Brady has been a state certified residential real estate appraiser since 1998. He brings experience and understanding to the residential side of our company. 
Carrie Ogle is originally from Victoria, Texas, and is a licensed Real Estate Appraiser Trainee. Carrie has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Land Economics & Real Estate, both received from Texas A&M University with honors. While at Texas A&M, Carrie worked as an intern for Forestar Real Estate Group in Austin, and as a marketing representative for The Woodlands of College Station.
John B. Cox was born & raised in Bowie County, in Northeast Texas, has been living and working in the Bryan/College Station area since the summer of 2001. A graduate of Texas A&M and a leader in the Cadet Corps while a student, John has worked as a residential real estate appraiser since January, 1998. He has obtained his Residential Appraiser Certification in the state of Texas. A member of the Appraisal institute, he is working on his SRA & towards his General Appraiser Certification. John also has worked with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, as a financial representative for individuals and business owners, advising them on personal and business financial strategies. With his over a decades long experience working in the Residential Appraisal side, John is now working on obtaining his General Appraisal Certification and is also assisting with the protesting of property tax assessments for our clients. John also volunteers much of his time to various local and state wide community and religious organizations that promote his love of others and freedom for all individuals.
